ABOUT
Mattias Pollak is a cinematographer based in Gothenburg, Sweden, but work has made him travel globally. He has more than ten years of experience as a DoP, ranging from feature films, documentaries, short films, art and dance films. Projects to specially mention last years is the feature "Explosions in the heart" by director Yen, showing in theatres in Norway 2024, as well as the international coproduction "Live a little", the debut feature of Fanny Ovesen. Mattias has a special love for drama and human interaction, always trying to transfer the mood and feeling of a subject to the screen with a humanistic eye. He like to step into the unknown, to be part of the project from the very start, or do things he har never done before. Stretching himself to try to understand how a story should be told in pictures.
